Welcome back!
The first time I saw these guys was on a Gaither DVD and I immediately had to hear more from them. They have a sound that is unique and fantastic. The base singer can bring it down LOW!
This particular song is from the DVD that I first saw them. It’s a bit dark but the song comes through just fine. Here are Ernie Hasse and the Signature Sound singing Glory To God In The Highest!
This Gaither Vocal Band offering is one of the best and funniest videos that I have ever seen. Bill Gaither and Mark Lowry are so funny in this one. In this video, Mark Lowry does something I have not ever seen before but it is so hilarious that you cannot watch the song and be quiet. LOL!!
Here are the Gaither Vocal Band singing Jesus On The Mainline….the shoe incident.
In an interview, Bill said that he kept his eyes closed the whole time, not knowing what Mark was doing. He KNEW it was Mark that was doing something because people were laughing so hard but he thought it would be better to let the song finish. LOL!!

This is one of those songs that is often asked for and is very popular! I love the Homecoming series that the Gaithers have been putting out regularly on CD and DVD. The song is called “It Is Finished” by the Gaither Vocal Band from the album Red Rocks Homecoming.
Praise God for the beautiful music!! Thank you for visiting.

This song has been a favorite of mine for many years. I heard about it from a guy who used to be in ministry with me. He was one of the “old guard” who believed that the old standards were the songs that meant more than any other. I happen to believe that all songs that are sung to the Lord and for the Lord have meaning. It is with a great deal of pleasure that I give you Sandi Patty singing His Eye Is On The Sparrow!
Thank you so much for being here. My readers are valuable to me. I have been having a bit of problem getting online in the last few days. So, please bear with me. I will be back with devotionals soon. God bless you richly!!

My wife, who is normally the one writing on this blog, didn’t want the day to go by without something being posted here and so I’m sharing this great tune by Mark Lowry. It’s been a favorite of both of us since the first time we heard it. We hope that you love it as much as we do.

As you might be able to tell, I am a huge Gaither Vocal Band fan. I have seen some personnel changes over the years but the quality of sound and content has not changed at all. This would be because of the capable leading of Bill Gaither. This particular song is a favorite of mine. So, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. The Gaither Vocal Band singing I’ll Tell It Wherever I Go”.
Once again, if you have a favorite that you cannot find or that you simply want me to place here, please feel free to ask for it in the comments section of this post. God bless you richly!
I have to admit that many of you may already be familiar with GodTube but I was not until today. And I was not familiar with it until I went to a person’s blog who is very good at posting for the Lord. This video impacted, it hit me very hard. You must watch all of it to see the story
but it is done all in mime with music. Very impressive. No that does not say it at all. Do you want to understand forgiveness and salvation? This is for you.
I have not explored GodTube as yet so I cannot say what might be there but if you are aware of what is there and would like to see it here, please let me know and I will get it for you.
The first time I ever heard this song it was sung by Danny Gaither. Frankly, I do not believe that anyone person could ever sing it like Danny could. Could not find one with Danny singing the song so I had to use the Gaither Vocal Band. They do a terrific job and I love this rendition but I wish I could have found it with Danny singing. That would have made my day. Here are the guys of the Gaither Vocal Band singing There Is A River, one of my very favorite songs of all time.
If you want to see any music up here by a group or singer, please leave a comment so I can try to find it. Thank you and God bless you richly.
I must tell you about a website that is brand new to me, Gospel Music Fan. I heard about it when someone from there commented about my website, particularly the post with video on Ernie Haase and The Signature Sound. Those guys are awesome and I love listening to them.
So, if you need information concerning the Southern Gospel groups, mosey on down to the Gospel Music Fan and take a long look around. They will give you all the info you need. It’s a pleasure to blog about these fine folks. And I thank them for the link on their website!!!
Small note: I have been out of town on Monday and Tuesday. We will have more devotionals as we receive them.
My Grandmother loved spiritual songs and this one was always one of her favorites. She has gone to be with the Lord now but she made sure I knew this one song. It took me many years to not cry when hearing this song. And with this video, we find out that Rex Nelon had gone to be with the Lord the night before. We can dedicate this song and video to my Grandmother and to Rex Nelon.
If you have any requests, please put them on the comments section of this post. Thank you for being here.
