The other problem I see is that this whole discussion has strayed from the original intent of the post…that is, the prayer for this little girl who needs the prayer very much.

Thanks to all of you who are praying for her. Thank you to those who are giving this prayer request to church prayer chains or other prayer lists. Thank you.

1 Corinthians 2:9, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”

The problem is that too many people read that and stop right there when they should read the next verse:

1 Corinthians 2:10, “But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”

In any event, it’s interesting all that’s come of a request for prayer for a very sick child. Would it be so unreasonable to suggest that if someone doesn’t believe in God or prayer that they not post comments that appear designed to hurt and be hateful?

What you think in your heart does affect your attitude about yourself and toward others and the decisions you make in life. This is why it’s important to be aware of what is in your heart and what you allow in.

Proverbs 4:23, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

If we allow evil thoughts, whether they’re about ourselves or others, we’re allowing poison into the heart of our being and it will surely destroy us. On the other hand the love of God brings us life and freedom.

Praise my Lord for what He is doing right now in that little girl’s life. There is so much opposition tonight. It must have hit a nerve. Praise God!! Thank You, Lord, that You are my rock and my salvation! We thank You for working however You will in Dannika’s very short life. Thank You!!

Actually, I work because of God’s power. In and of myself, I have nothing. It is only through God that I can have this blog, say those things and believe as I do. Praise God for that!! It is God Who has the power and the love to freely give. Thank You, Lord.
