Welcome back!
There is a little 5 year old girl named Dannika who is struggling to live at this hour. She has a disease that will likely kill her by the age of 10-12 years old. She is going blind. Today, she could not remember how to use her feet or hands.
It is most urgent that we pray for her as soon as possible.
Heavenly Father, we thank You that we can come to You, especially for the little children who hold a special place in Your heart. Please touch this little girl, Dannika, with Your healing hand as she is suffering with this dreadful disease that takes the life from her even before she is able to have much life. Please give her parents peace that passes all understanding as You watch over this hurting family.
Thank You, Lord. Amen.

god never answers my prayers, so good luck!
It certainly seems that way at times. I used to think that too. But our God is an awesome God and He will answer, maybe not the way you want, and that would be the problem with most prayers that people consider to be unanswered.
I do not believe in luck.
I’ve found that God always answers prayers. What we have to deal with is that often the answer is ‘no’, either because we’re asking for the wrong thing or that we’re asking for the wrong reason.
Remember, the basic answers for prayer are ‘yes’, ‘no’, and ‘not yet’. Anytime we think we’re being told ‘no’ we need to examine what it is we’re asking and why. If those two are not in line with God’s word we’re never going to get anywhere.
How are you one to even try to determine how God works. If you believe in an almighty being then you should believe that hes a little more capable then trinary logic. Quit belittling your own god.
I love it when those who want to say negative things tend to leave them with no name. Isn’t it strange? Positive comments tend to have names with them because those people are not ashamed of what they write.
God is an awesome God….He is the creator of heaven and earth!! He has given us power, love and a sound mind. Praise You, Lord. We are thankful and not belittling to You because we know that ONLY You could have made the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. We praise You continually for Who You are. Thank You, Jesus!!!
I don’t leave a name because I know plenty of religious nuts who go crazy over this stuff and can’t take criticism without making it personal.
I guarantee I wasn’t “belittling” God in any way. I was simply attempting to explain something in a way that I find at least understandable.
I don’t pretend do know the full mind of God nor his reasons for things, however I do know that if our prayers are not in agreement with His word then we’re not going anywhere.
Our first step is to humble ourselves before him and follow Jesus’ example “Not my will but thine.” Because if we will remember that He is Lord, He will lift us up in His own good time.
I won’t stop you from trying to understand something that you will never know anything about.
Something I will never know anything about? That sounds like a common misinterpretation of the scripture:
1 Corinthians 2:9, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
The problem is that too many people read that and stop right there when they should read the next verse:
1 Corinthians 2:10, “But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”
In any event, it’s interesting all that’s come of a request for prayer for a very sick child. Would it be so unreasonable to suggest that if someone doesn’t believe in God or prayer that they not post comments that appear designed to hurt and be hateful?
There are so many nasty comments that I do believe God is working and that somehow, this post has hit a nerve. Praise God for His awesome mercy and grace.

You people are religious nuts. Quit hiding behind your religious ideals and actually DO something about the problems in our world.
I think you need to know that I have no problem being a “religious nut” so that did not hurt me in the least.
Excuse me but exactly what do you mean by hiding? And how on earth do you know, one way or the other, whether I am DOING something about the problems in the world or not? I do not deal well with censors, you know.
Praise God for the goodness in Him. Praise Him for each and every breath we take because it is God and ONLY our Father Who is the creator of all things. Thank You, Lord, for Your majesty. Thank You for Who You are. We thank You for the Light that shines in this world for us to be guided in the darkness that plagues the earth. Thank You, Lord.
Obsessing around one ideal leads you to answers based on it. You lose your ability to be subjective and see beyond what is obvious. You being a religious nut clouds your perspective and actually losing meaning. You are a disgrace and your own selfrighteousness is pitiful.
Actually, if this is an obsession then I want to be obsessed with Jesus!!! He is my Lord and Savior and nothing, NOTHING you say can change that.
Unlike what you believe, I can see more clearly now than when I had not clue who God was or what He did.
And frankly, your statement makes no sense whatsoever. Again, I find it amazing and strange that when a person has something “important” to say, that they would clothe themselves in Anonymous. People who do that..lose credibility because they are unwilling to reveal themselves and be honest.
What did you think we would do, spam your blog? HA HA. Nope. I am not going to stoop to what you are obviously trying to do on mine.

You have the right to your opinion as I have the right to mine. That is the beauty on the internet, one can voice an opinion without having a name attached. Its not about credibility because credibility cannot be established on the internet because of its anonymous nature. I’m not trying to persuade you away from ‘Jesus’ but I trying to show you that the way you go about it is unnatural and disgraceful to people actually interested in the religion. Its people like you who put the world through hundreds of years of dark ages.

Actually, I work because of God’s power. In and of myself, I have nothing. It is only through God that I can have this blog, say those things and believe as I do. Praise God for that!! It is God Who has the power and the love to freely give. Thank You, Lord.

Jesus, You are the Light of the world. You came to save those who believe in You. You died on that cross so that all who trust You will believe and receive You into their hearts. There You will live with them forever. We praise You for Your sacrifice of death so that we may live. It is an awesome thing to be part of the family of God!!!

I personally wouldn’t go far as blaming god as then you would have to admit that god exists (good luck with that one).
That’s ok, sooner or later everyone will not only admit that He exists, but that Jesus is Lord.

I totally am sold out to Jesus! I am a Jesus Freak and have zero problem saying that!! I love my Lord.

YES!! God DOES exist!! Praise God for His infinite wisdom in giving us a place to love Him and live.
God has in fact done plenty. In Jesus sacrifice on the cross He has made a way for us to escape condemnation and the punishment for sin that all deserve. Now it’s up to us to act on what He has done:
Deuteronomy 30:19, “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:”
Hmm, God does not do enough and it’s all His fault. Yes, I suppose that’s right. He did bring you to life. He made the heavens and the earth. He brought forth life in all it’s grand glory.
I should also point out here that it is not God’s fault that there is evil in the world. That is reserved for the devil who is happy to claim that right.
Kim, I do think that you are hurting from what you perceive as something God did or did not do in your life. The vile things of this world are not God’s fault. He did not set the world up this way. And He is not the reason sickness and negative things happen to anyone.
God is so good. Jesus died on the cross for YOU! All you need to do is ask forgiveness for the sins in your life, ask Jesus into your heart and believe that He has done this for you!! The peace of God that passes all understanding is there for you if only you will believe.

Law of Attraction
I believe the law of attraction is new age. We have nothing to do with that. Nothing at all.
If you’re talking about the new age concept “you get what you think about; your thoughts determine your experience.”, it’s only about half right.
What you think in your heart does affect your attitude about yourself and toward others and the decisions you make in life. This is why it’s important to be aware of what is in your heart and what you allow in.
Proverbs 4:23, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
If we allow evil thoughts, whether they’re about ourselves or others, we’re allowing poison into the heart of our being and it will surely destroy us. On the other hand the love of God brings us life and freedom.

The other problem I see is that this whole discussion has strayed from the original intent of the post…that is, the prayer for this little girl who needs the prayer very much.
