Welcome back!
From time to time, I will be putting news items up that affect Christians in some way. This time, Billy Graham is hospitalized for intestinal bleeding. As of the last report I saw, he was resting comfortably after treatment. They do not believe his condition is life threatening at this time. This is a time for prayer for this warrior of the Lord.
Please continue to pray for his family due to their loss of Billy’s wife of 64 years.

Most of what I put here is something like a devotional but sometimes there are other things that I must mention. This is such a subject. There is a website that you should not miss called Shout Life! This is a sort of myspace type place where Christians can get together and enjoy. I joined a few days ago and the welcome was almost overwhelming and I loved it.
I am still searching how to do things and what to see. My friends list is awesome and I hardly have been there a couple of days. There are a large number of music artists there. Oh, they are so good! Not just trying to say that, they really are quite good. There wasn’t an artist or song I did not like. I loved each. Some are the traditional music, some rock and roll type. Doesn’t matter. I have what Whoopi Goldberg in Sister Act2 called “eclectic” tastes. I love lots of music. So, take a trip on that Gospel ship and go to Shout Life! You won’t regret it.

For several months now, I have not posted on this blog. It was not my intention to ignore it. At the time, I was starting up several blogs at once, some to put my opinions in..which were political as well as other thoughts. I did not feel that those should be on this blog since I was also expecting to have some paid posts as well.
This blog, Topshelf, is dedicated to my Lord Jesus. What I say here must reflect what He gives me to talk about. Therefore, it will not include secular things which do not show my beliefs.
I am so happy to have this blog up and running again with a brand new look. It depicts God’s peace as I see it. God told us that we would see through a glass darkly (1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.) meaning that we might not see the whole picture right now but soon we will and it will be glorious. We will be face to face with my Jesus!! What a wonderful thing to look forward to in this life.
So, this is my blog for my Lord. I hope I will be as busy with it as I am with the others that I have. Praise You, Lord Jesus! Thank You for everything! This is such a blessing.
